Video cards are no longer needed – God of War was launched on the “embedded” in FullHD and at 30 FPS

The video chips built into the processor have long been rightly considered weak solutions that are suitable only for office work. However, the new AMD Radeon 660M “plugin” can run relatively modern games.

t reportedly managed to run God of War at 30 FPS at Full HD resolution. One important point – the FSR 2.0 system was used for this. The game was launched on a system with a six-core Ryzen 5 6600H processor.

The Radeon 660M video card is a stripped-down version of the Radeon 680M, which is used in the older models of hybrid processors in the line. It has half the number of computing units and lower frequency – 384 units and 1.9 GHz versus 768 stream processors and 2.4 GHz for the Radeon 680M.

Curiously, at least the Radeon RX 5700 is recommended for the game.
