The failed Anthem from BioWare began to give away almost for nothing – just one cent

Anthem , the failed online action game of 2019 from BioWare, is no longer interesting to almost anyone. As Kotaku noted , recently one of the GameStop stores began selling physical editions of the game almost for free – for just one cent.

Thanks to a generous promotion, some players bought several discs at once. For example, Redditor Spider-Man_Fan bought 37 copies of Anthem for 41 cents including taxes.

According to Kotaku, it’s common for GameStop to run sales like this before liquidating an item. Given that Anthem hasn’t received any updates since at least February 2021, the developers may soon shut down the servers.
