Overwatch 2 free forever, it’s official: that’s when you can try it
Among the great protagonists of the Xbox + Bethesda showcase it is impossible not to mention Overwatch 2 , the new Blizzard hero shooter who has shown himself in action again with very important news.
Unlike what happened with the first chapter ( you can find many themed products on Amazon ), Overwatch 2 will in fact be released as free-to-play : it means that all players will be able to play it for free forever since launch and without subscriptions.
The news had been in the air for some time following the latest rumors, but in the course of the many announcements of Xbox + Bethesda Showcase 2022 there was an opportunity to confirm excellent news for all users who were anxiously awaiting the new episode of the franchise.
Although unfortunately not yet unveiled an official launch date, Blizzard however wanted to anticipate that the title will be available in early access from 4 October , thus offering the opportunity to try it even before the definitive day one.
During the presentation there was also space to present the new playable heroine : it is Junker Queen , unveiled in a new trailer that showcases what her new abilities will be.
Recall that this is the 36th playable character unveiled for Overwatch 2 , which it is plausible to imagine will be introduced starting from the early access test on October 4th.
In any case, the news does not seem over at all: Blizzard has in fact announced a stream event to reveal further news on the title, which will be available on their respective channels from June 16 . Fans will therefore want to pin this date on their calendar.
Recall that Overwatch 2 will be available on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch and will remain free forever: users will therefore simply have to choose their preferred gaming platform.
A few weeks ago we had the opportunity to preview the beta of the second chapter, which left us doubts and as many curiosities .
