LEGO has released a new construction set that fans of old devices will surely enjoy. After all, it allows you to assemble a full-size model in the form of an Atari 2600 console – it was released on the 50th anniversary of the device’s entry into the market.

The set consists of 2532 parts, the cost is $240 The kit contains all the necessary parts to recreate the original appearance of the console, a joystick-lever with a button and three cartridges with popular games – Asteroids , Adventure and Centipede .

The cartridges themselves can be inserted into the console (but the games, of course, do not start). The cartridges are also complete with LEGO themed dioramas. For example, for the game Asteroids there is a diorama with asteroids.

The Atari Video Computer System (2600) was introduced on June 5, 1977 for $190. Now it is almost 800 dollars (more than 45,000 rubles at the exchange rate). In the same 1977, sales of consoles amounted to 250 thousand, and in 1978 they reached 550 thousand units.
