Juventus will be in FIFA 23, official: exclusive multi-year partnership with EA Sports

The news was in the air, after relations with eFootball and Konami seemed to have suddenly cooled, and now it is official: Juventus will be in FIFA 23 , by virtue of an exclusive multi-year partnership signed with EA Sports by the famous Juventus club.

The announcement came directly from Electronic Arts and, referring to an agreement over several years, we can therefore assume that this also allows the future of EA Sports FC , the video game that EA will make after FIFA 23 – which will be its latest effort side by side with FIFA – to count on the official Juventus license.

As explained by EA:

«This partnership will see EA SPORTS become Juventus’ exclusive Sport Video Gaming Partner , with a fully authentic game integration that will feature the Juventus stadium, the Allianz Stadium , along with the club’s logo and kits .

Both partners are also excited to work on a series of cultural and lifestyle initiatives that will bring new opportunities outside of football ».

Accompanying this agreement will be the fact that Dusan Vlahovic , the Juventus bomber, will be a new ambassador for FIFA 23 , while the beloved midfielder Claudio Marchisio – now a former Juventus player and legend – will enter the game as a FUT hero .

” We are thrilled to reaffirm our deep commitment to Italian football through this exclusive partnership with Juventus,” commented David Jackson , VP Brand of EA SPORTS FIFA. ” This phenomenal club means a lot to us and our fans and will allow EA SPORTS to continue to offer the most authentic and comprehensive interactive football experiences possible in FIFA 23 and beyond .”

Juventus, in the person of Chief Revenue Officer Giorgio Ricci , also expressed satisfaction with this new agreement with Electronic Arts:

«We are proud to be back alongside EA SPORTS. The partnership with EA SPORTS goes beyond the concept of traditional partnership, together in the shared project of looking to the future, talking to the new generations, riding the wave of new trends, urban culture and lifestyle.

We chose EA SPORTS to take it one step further because it is a partner that shares our vision and our ambitions. We are happy to take this path with a brand that stands out for its originality, uniqueness and innovation, like Juventus ».

Founded in 1897 in Turin, Juventus Football Club is the Italian club with the highest number of national titles . In the international arena, he has brought home, among others, 2 UEFA Champions League, 3 Europa League / Uefa Cup and 1 Cup Winners’ Cup.

Many of the most famous footballers of the last twenty years have worn the Juventus team jersey: from Alessandro Del Piero to Zinedine Zidane, through Pavel Nedved, Gianluigi Buffon, Giorgio Chiellini and Cristiano Ronaldo.

The newfound agreement with EA will allow players to say goodbye to Piemonte Calcio – as Juventus had been renamed in the absence of its license. This will also mean that the eFootball competitor will not be able to include the club’s logo and name, as this is an exclusivity agreement. The same will apply to other football titles in the works, such as UFL .

For all the insights on FIFA 23 we recommend that you take a look at our first impressions , after having been able to test the game on PlayStation 5.

The release is expected for September 30 on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Google Stadia and, with a Legacy Edition ( yet another, unfortunately ) on Nintendo Switch. You can pre-order the game on Amazon if interested.
