As part of the State of Play presentation, the long-awaited remake of the cult action-horror Resident Evil 4 was announced . Capcom has already shown the first trailer with a demonstration of graphics, and also revealed the exact release date.

Game details will be announced later. It is now known that the remake will support both regular mode and the PlayStation VR 2 virtual reality headset.

The release will take place on March 24, 2023 on PC (Steam), PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
