It looks like the God of War: Ragnarok event has been postponed – but new details may be leaked today
In early June, Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier reported that the developers of God of War: Ragnarok will present the release date of the game on the last day of the month. Apparently, this is not the case. Today, Schreier tweeted that the game was really meant to be shown on June 30th, but according to Cory Barlog, the event has been postponed.
The 2018 God of War creative director asked fans to be patient and noted that he could not share the details of the sequel. Later, he also confirmed that Ragnarok was not rescheduled – the release is also scheduled for 2022.
My dears, if it depended on me, I would immediately share all the information. But I’m not the one making the decisions here, so please be patient.
I promise that we will tell you about the game as soon as we can. We make games for you. We make games because of you.
— Corey Barlog
However, Barlog’s appeal does not mean that we will be left without news. Insider Tom Henderson has hinted that there will be fresh Ragnarok details by the end of the day, but they won’t be official. One of the tweets is accompanied by a GIF with a mysteriously grinning Dean Winchester.
