Insider: online mode Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will not show in the near future

The notorious Tom Henderson (Tom Henderson) said, citing his sources, that the online mode of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be presented in September, and not in the near future, as some rumors say. Apparently, this is a new tradition for Activision: the multiplayer of the previous two parts was also shown in the fall.

The insider does not know the exact date and format of the event, but players can at least wait for the live broadcast. Henderson also recalled that beta testing of the shooter will begin in mid-late September.

Modern Warfare 2 will be the storyline sequel to Modern Warfare 2019. The new story is dedicated to the fight against the Mexican drug cartel and the Al-Qatala terrorist group. In June, the developers presented a full trailer and an excerpt from one of the missions.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is scheduled to release on October 28, 2022. The game will be released on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
