A fan showed off his remaster of the iconic NFS Underground 2, comparing it to the 2004 original. The graphics really got better.
Modder GAMETEST posted a video showing a new version of his modification Evolved (available on Patreon ) for the cult racing arcade game Need for Speed: Underground 2 . The mod improves the graphics at the level of a full-fledged remaster.

Most likely, the new version of Evolved includes improved textures and lighting, as well as higher quality car models.
In the published video, you can see how the graphics in Need for Speed: Underground 2 have changed after installing this modification.
According to the author, work on the mod is still ongoing, and therefore in the future it will probably show even better results.
Recall that earlier another fan showed what NFS: Most Wanted could look like if it came out in 2022.
